The Aussie with a piano, rock attitude and smudgy eyeliner will be at Bloomsbury Theatre for two days from 5 September. Grab your ticket or else get on a coach and follow him around the country. See our review next week.

Dorian Gray
Matthew Bourne can do no wrong at Sadler's, transforming classics into modern-day extravaganzas. See his version of Dorian Gray set among London's beautiful people with Dorian as an It-boy who makes a pact with the devil in a dark and ugly world.
Until 14 September, Sadler's Wells, Rosebery Avenue EC1R; 0844 412 4300

The Collector
Based on the John Fowles novel of the same name, first published in 1963, this stage version by Mark Healy premiered at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival to critical acclaim. It's now back at the Arcola in Stoke Newington. A tense thrilling tale about a low ranking civil servant who imprisons a young art student in his cellar.
Until 20 September, Arcola Theatre, 27 Arcola Street E8; 020 7503 1646
