Kate Moss may be on every other page of Vogue and Heidi Klum may have been voted the sexiest model but it is Gisele Bündchen that eclipses Moss and even the original supermodels as the highest earner.

The Brazilian Beauty is officially the world's most powerful model with annual earnings exceeding £17 million. In comparison Kate Moss doesn't even come close at £4.5million, closely followed by Heidi Klum with £4m.

Even 37-year-old Claudia Schiffer's personal fortune in 2002 was £38m whereas Bündchen 's fortune comes in at £75m and she's just 27.

Much of her fortune comes from her modelling contracts but it's Bündchen 's business acumen that really sets her apart.

Bündchen hit the big time in 2000 when she signed with Victoria's Secret for £2.5m a year till 2007 and her recent £1.7m deal with Max Factor has added to the fortune.

Recent reports revealed that a savvy Bündchen asked to be paid in Euros over the weakening dollar for her modelling work.
