07.03.2008Atul Kochhar is head chef of Michelin starred restaurant Benares. Watch our video of him demonstrating how to make one of his award winning recipes for pan fried sea bass with coconut and lime sauce.
For the sauce:
About 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil / coconut oil
1 clove of garlic
Small knob of ginger
1 or ½ green chili
½ medium onion (for two servings)
Fresh curry leaves
¼ teaspoon turmeric
Coconut milk (a little more than ½ of a tin can)
Salt
For the sea bass:
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
Sea bass
Thyme
Butter
Serve with baby rocket and asparagus.

This recipe sounds great and fairly easy. I am definitely going to try it out!

yum, yum, yum,yum. Looks pretty straight-forward, so might give this one a try. Disturbingly, an invisible customer ordered this dish, but the chef didn't seem to notice. Weird.
