Shopaholic No More

Remember Me? - Sophie Kinsella

Book Review

Shopaholic No More

05.02.2008

Her new husband Eric is stuffy, obsessive-compulsive and loaded, complete with yellow cashmere jumper and shoes with tassels – and, quite frankly, completely brilliant. The mysterious Jon adds a bit of spice, with his tousled hair and witty sense of humour, and Lexi’s mouthy teenage sister Amy brings lots of laughs, too.

Remember Me? is your typical Sophie Kinsella effort in that the witty, dippy heroine manages to save the day and everyone lives happily every after – but it is something she does so well. A fast-paced, hilarious page-turner, Remember Me? does everything good girlie novels should do –it makes you laugh out loud and you just do not want to put it down.

A modern, fun, fairytale-esque dream of a read – Ms Kinsella has proven herself as being more than the Shopaholic, and she’s done it with style.
