Play.com Live, the ultimate event in geek chic, is kicking off this weekend at Wembley Stadium and we'll be there keeping you updated with all the latest gossip, exclusive pictures and videos.

For gamers, highlights will be big name games such as Rockband and Lego Indiana Jones (Like Lego Star Wars but with whips instead of light sabres.), the hugely anticipated platformer Little Big Planet and beat 'em ups such as Soul Calibur 4 and Street fighter IV.

And we'll be grabbing the winners of the Unreal Tournament 3 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 competitions for a chat at some point so make sure you keep a look out for that.

But the fabulous two day event isn't just for tpixel heads. There is something for all the family with performances from brilliant bands, celebrity appearances and some great competition prizes.

Presented by the gorgeous Gemma Atkinson, who won our hearts on Hollyoaks and in the jungle in I'm A Celebrity 2007, the event will see bands including Elliot Minor, Vincent Vincent and the Villains, The Rumble Strips and We Are Scientists get you rocking.
