Half way through the week. Wednesday is a funny day as you realise that you really should have a go at the workload that's stacking up but, more importantly, it's time to start planning your weekend.

Tonight, it may be time to go out. Not too heavy you've still got two more week days to go through so maybe you should pop to the cinema. Margot at the Wedding with Nicole Kidman is our favourite at the moment. Or for something a little different pop down to the Banksy exhibition in South Kensignton. His work is funny, ironic and it's a fab exhibition. It makes a great talking point. Ooh it could even make for an interesting first date. First dates by the way should always be during the week. Why? Because you have to get up the next day so there's no temptation to not go home that night.

To be honest though if you're getting ready for a big date on the weekend, now is the time to start getting ready. I just heard a collective sigh from the men reading this. “I know they take three hours to get ready but three days! come on that's pushing it.” They're thinking. I don't mean you should start putting your make up on but there are certain things that it's best to do a few days before you go out. i.e. Waxing – never wax the day before, it's so not a good look. Give yourself a mini facial – you'll look splodgy and a bit pink tomorrow but by Saturday you'll glow. And I'm not just talking to the girls.
