IT’S Hard to believe, but you could drive a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder for just £10,745. And you could also drive an Aston Martin DB9, an Audi R8, a Bentley Continental GTC or a Ferrari F430 Scuderia. Not just one of them but all of them for the same price.

Too good to be true? Well, no it’s not. Although, you may have guessed you’ll not own the cars, ècurie25, the central London supercar club, allows it members hassle free driving in the world’s desirable motors.

Based in Old Street, on the fringes of the Square Mile, ècurie25 was launched in 2005 and has cornered the market in offering the most exotic cars first. For your £10,745 you are allocated 600 points. These points are then traded for each car. The cars are split into four groups with the top wheels in è1 while the Porsche Cayman S, which is a great bit of kit, is in è4. The higher the group the more points you will have to trade to secure your car. Similarly, the cars cost more points at peak times in the summer months and at weekends.

But the crew at ècurie25 assure me that, on average, customers get an average of 40 days a year in a great car. But if you only want the Lambos, Astons and Bentleys over summer weekends you’d actually only get 12 days driving as each three-day weekend would cost 150 of your 600 allocated points. But move out of the weekends and, even in the summer, you could enjoy up to 33 days in one of the top rated cars. Look at it that way and, if you’re clever with how and when you select your cars, the club can offer great value. It will even help you plan your car usage so you get maximum use of your points. And, of course, you don’t have to take a top rated car every time. There are a couple of great Ferraris and a Maserati in the è2 group, which use up fewer points. There’s even the exquisite Maserati Quatroporte available in the è3 class.

So when I was offered the chance to test this car club experience and pick any car in the range to toddle off in for a few days do you think I worried about the points.
