How much Hugh Grant can you take? The bumbling one and Working Title have gone almost hand-in-hand for over ten years. Together they’ve brought us some real stonkers; 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', 'Notting Hill' and 'Bridget Jones’ Diary', and a couple of stinkers too.

This week sees the release of a seven-film Working Title DVD box which features six of their biggest box office hits... and 'Wimbledon'.

If you’ve been living on Mars with the strange walking man/rock for the last Fifteen years here’s a little summary of each of the films in the box set.

'Four Weddings And A Funeral' - the original and best, made in 1993, is about Charlie (Grant) who is always the best man but never the groom. Determined to avoid even a hint of commitment, he is notoriously late to every wedding and manages to avoid relationships as much as possible. That is until he meets an elusive American played by the now relegated to anti-ageing adverts, Andy MacDowell.

Next is Notting Hill, made in 1999, which tells the story of famous actress Anna (played by famous actress Julia Roberts) who bumps into divorced bookstore owner (Grant again) and strikes up an unlikely romance. The differences between their lives i.e. famous, beautiful, rich Hollywood movie star versus bumbling, poor, English fool almost ruin any chance of happily ever after.

Another cracker is Bridget Jones's Diary, from 2001. The film version of the best-selling novel loosely based on Pride and Prejudice tells the story of a neurotic thirtysomething singleton played by an exceedingly English Renee Zellwegger. She finds herself in a love triangle beween the handsome but Haughty Mark Darcy (a.k.a Mr Darcy a.k.a Colin Firth) and her boss, the flirty Daniel played by, what’s the name of that actor – oh yes that’s it - Hugh Grant.

The year after, Working Title brought us About A Boy. This heartwarmer has a slightly different tone i.e. not quite as silly. Will, played by you know who, is a 38-year old Londoner and a serial womanizer living a bachelor lifestyle.
