Bora Aksu

Having won the prestigious New Generation Topshop sponsorship four times running, no one was going to miss the Bora Aksu A/W 08 collection.

Stunning from start to finish, the collection epitomised modern nomadic charm with flowing chiffons layered upon silks upon taffeta. Layering was almost a standard requirement on skirts, dresses and sleeves, in muted natural hues of charcoal, chocolate, soft raspberry, minx and greens - perfectly intone with the ethereal feel of the collection.

Detailing was key with Lizard print leggings, leather ‘utility’ inspired bodices, capes and sparkling hemlines complimenting the delicate and floating designs.

Last season, Tori Amos bought the entire collection for her tour and with talent like this, it’s easy to see why.
