Alternative Fashion Week
02.05.2008Alternative Fashion Week took place last week in London’s Spitalfields Traders' Market.
The alternative to the official London Fashion Week played host to creative collections by new designers, as well as new models waiting to be discovered. From knitted and woven to recycled and experimental textiles, but no fur in support of the ‘No Fur Trade campaign’, the designers showcased their innovative ideas.
Nadeem Ahmed went backstage and chatted with the show organiser and a few designers, as well as with Miss England Chloe Marshall and presenter Ruth Rogers about their new Body Gossip campaign.
