RB: (still fiddling) For me the TV series that I was on did bring me everything that I have gotten thus far which is amazing and I'm so grateful for that. It's harder, I think, when you're known for a TV series as a character. People really think that they know you as that character so it's been important to me to break away from that as much as possible and go against the obvious typecast roles and I've been lucky enough, even though I've only done two films since that they've been so different.

Hayden, the film is quite physical. Was it you or the stunt double that came away with the most bruises?

HC: My stunt double was better at it so he didn't get hurt. It was a physical part and my character takes a beating so I got knocked around quite a bit but I didn't mind. I sort of enjoy the physicality of acting. They won't let you do all of it because they won't let you kill yourself.

Did you walk away scar-free?

HC: No I got a nice scar across my hand here that I won't point out because it's not visible.
RB: (looking closely) Where is it?
HC: I split my ear open and knocked my head and my pupil got dilated in this strange position which was really concerning and I couldn't see.
RB: I had bruises and scratches but I was more proud of them and showing them off.

When you were shooting at the Colliseum, did you have to put up with angry tourists?

HC: No, we had the place to ourselves so they shut the whole thing down for us.
RB: Just before it opened and after it closed for tourism hours.
HC: (looking at Rachel) Okay.
RB: No I mean...
HC: (Mocking annoyance) I thought we had the whole place to ourselves but if you want to tell them that we did it at a different time, that's fine.

Did you go to areas where cameras hadn't been?

HC: Yeah, they had allowed film crews in there I think about 50 or 60 years ago but not in the actual underbelly of it where we filmed. We'd go up to the top rafters where they don't let tourists go. I mean, we explored every nook and cranny of that place.
